Our Story
At first, it was just cats.
Then it became comfort.
Now, it’s a movement.
Smokey & Bros started with a heart full of love for our senior cats — Miss Holley, Mr. Fry, and Bronnie — and a deep desire to do something meaningful after we said goodbye. Grief sat beside us, quietly. But so did purpose. And three cheeky kittens — Smokey, Pecco, and Floki — helped us find it.
Meet Sharna – Our Brave Guardian in the Sky
Before there were the Bros… there was Sharna.
A loyal German Shepherd with a heart of gold and a bark that could shake the sky, she watched over our family like a true protector.
Though she’s no longer by our side, her spirit flies high — and now, she joins Smokey, Pecco, and Floki as the honorary Sky Captain of the crew.
With her vintage goggles and endless courage, Sharna reminds us that no matter how different we are — there’s room for everyone in this misfit family.
The Why
In our own struggles with mental health, we found that small comforts mattered most. A warm hoodie. A quiet laugh. A mug that says, “You’ve got this.”
And cats — always cats.
We realised the power of blending feline calm with gentle reminders to pause, breathe, and smile. That’s how Paws for a Moment was born — a mental wellness mission, wrapped in fur, art, and humour.
The Digital Art
It began as a tribute. A way to honour our boys with lighthearted, emotionally grounded art. What started with a few AI-generated cat characters turned into a digital gallery of calm — from surreal space cats and quirky affirmations, to wall prints that speak directly to the soul (with a few cat jokes thrown in, of course).
Now, we offer printable downloads, custom pet art, and limited-edition pieces that double as gentle emotional support.
The Apparel Line
Next came the tees, hoodies, and mugs. Not just merch — but messages you can wear.
